Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2025. By accessing or using the TenderPal platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

The Service

TenderPal aggregates publicly available South African government and private sector procurement notices and provides tools to help registered users discover, track, and respond to tenders and requests for quotations. Tender data is sourced from the National Treasury eTenders portal and other public sources. TenderPal is not affiliated with National Treasury or any government entity.

Accounts

  • You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter contracts to register.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • One account per person or business entity. Do not share accounts.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering. Impersonating another person or entity will result in immediate termination.
  • You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings.

Acceptable Use

You may not use TenderPal to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export tender data in an automated manner without our written consent.
  • Resell or redistribute our aggregated data to third parties.
  • Post fraudulent, misleading, or defamatory RFQs or content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under South African or international law.

Tender Data Accuracy

Tender information on TenderPal is aggregated from public sources and is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any tender listing. Always verify tender details directly with the procuring entity before submitting a bid. TenderPal accepts no liability for losses arising from reliance on data displayed on the platform.

Tender Specialist Services

Enquiries submitted via the Tender Specialist form are forwarded to independent specialists. Any engagement with a specialist is a separate commercial arrangement between you and that specialist. TenderPal is not a party to that arrangement and accepts no liability for specialist services rendered or omitted.

RFQs Posted by Users

By posting an RFQ you confirm that you have authority to issue the request and that all information provided is accurate. TenderPal reserves the right to remove any RFQ that violates these terms or applicable law without notice.

Intellectual Property

The TenderPal name, logo, platform design, and original content are the intellectual property of TenderPal (Pty) Ltd. Government tender notices reproduced on the platform remain the property of the respective procuring entities. You may not reproduce or redistribute TenderPal's original content without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, TenderPal's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid to TenderPal in the 3 months preceding the claim. TenderPal is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. We will give reasonable notice where practical. Sections covering intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
